Law Enforcement Exploring is challenging and fun! 

PERHAPS YOU ARE A YOUNG PERSON AND INTERESTED IN A CAREER IN LAW ENFORCEMENT

Law Enforcement Exploring Post 93 meets every other Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. (please see the training calendar below).  Recruitment for membership continues.

 

REQUIREMENTS: Age of 15-20

Applicants may not have a criminal history, found delinquent or unruly, or currently on probation.

Applicants must maintain at least a "C" average in school studies and provide the Explorer Post proof of grades each grade period.

Membership is eleven dollars. Membership  is the responsibility of the Explorer.

Within six months of membership, the Explorer will be required to purchase two uniforms. These are:

  1. Training Uniform: Green Polo shirt w/ name ($30) khaki slacks, black belt, black shoes of any kind.
  2. Duty Uniform (Class B) ($90) This includes Khaki uniform shirt, hunter green uniform slacks, a name plate and two patches sewn on the shirt. The Sheriff issues a badge, collar tabs, and patches.
Explorers may have sponsors who are willing to assist in the purchase of uniforms.

Uniform of the Day: Polo with Khaki Slacks

Explorers will be taught basic first aid life saving skills. Explorers bring your First Aid hand outs to class along with notebook and paper, writing instrument and be prepared to answer questions on stopping bleeding, treating shock, applying splints, procedure for head injury first aid, how to treat for injured eyes, amputation/partial first aid, burns, chest wounds, and open abdomen first aid.
