Motor vehicles crashes often require the response of several emergency services, including Fire Services. The response and rescue phase of a crash may require team work of law enforcement, fire, and EMS.

Explorers will go to Rahn's Wrecker Services in Rincon, GA where they will meet with members of Rincon Fire Department. Explorers will receive training on the different types of rescue equipment fire services bring to the crash scene. They will see a demonstration of the hydraulic tool, the jaws of life and other extraction tools. Explorers will get an opportunity to see Fire Apparatus up close and ask questions.

Explorers will need to bring their equipment and notebooks as always. We will be in the impound yard and the presence of mosquitoes is great. Please bring some repellant for your personal use, such as Deep Woods Off or the like.
