Explorers were provided with information about enforcement of Traffic laws and officer safety. Explorers role played stopping vehicles for traffic law infractions. Explorers were faced with the possibility of confronting simulated armed drivers.

PERHAPS YOU ARE A YOUNG PERSON AND INTERESTED IN A CAREER IN LAW ENFORCEMENT
Law Enforcement Exploring Post 93 meets every other Monday at 6:30 p.m. (please see the training calendar below). Recruitment for membership continues.
REQUIREMENTS: Youth between the ages of 15-20
Applicants may not have a criminal history, found delinquent or unruly, or currently on probation.
Apllicants must maintain at least a "C" average in school studies and provide the Explorer Post proof of grades each grade period.
Membership is eleven dollars. Membership and uniforms are purchased by the explorer. over a period of six months. Explorers wear two uniforms.
- Training Uniform: Green Polo shirt w/ name ($30) khaki slacks, black belt, black shoes of any kind.
- Duty Uniform (Class B) ($90) This includes Khaki shirt, hunter green slacks, name plate and two patches sewn on the shirt. The Sheriff issues a badge, collar tabs, patches, and whistle.
