You must be registered to vote to request an Absentee Ballot
Voters can apply for an Absentee Ballot as early as 78 days before an election
No reason needs to be given to request an Absentee Ballot
Elderly or Disabled voters can choose to receive all ballots for an entire Election Cycle by checking the "Elderly or Disabled" box on their application
If someone is temporarily outside of the County, 65 years of age or older or is physically disabled, a relative can request a ballot for them (Please refer to the actual application for a list of persons that can request a ballot for you)
Absentee requests can be in the form of a letter, application and can be mailed, faxed or emailed. All requests must be signed
